What Does It Mean to Fully Believe? (1)
Dr RJ Sing
“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.”
We are to walk and operate fully in the realm of faith. And as you believe with your heart you will be tested. This is when you take the Word and launch your counter attack. Now, let’s consider the following scripture; *Luke 4:16, “And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.” Psalms 116:10, “I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted.”*
You are a free moral agent. You can either help or hinder the work of God. No one would knowingly want to hinder the work of God. People do it ignorantly and yet with all sincerity. The study of the Bible is one of the best ways to help with God’s work. One then would not have to act in error. This brings us to the question “What is the work of God?” Jesus answered the question when He said in *John 6:28 -29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” To believe in Christ, as the scripture has said is the greatest work of God, men can do. So to believe means that one becomes a doer of God’s Word. Not only do you hear the Word of God but you put it into practice
