  • Legal status: a non-profit organisation (NPO)
  • Address: 350 Parkstation Road, Greenwood Park, Durban 4051, South Africa

What you are buying

Each book is an eBook: a digital download, not a printed book. You get two files of the same book, both included in the price:

  • EPUB, for phones, tablets and eReaders. It opens in Apple Books, Google Play Books and Kobo, and on Kindle through Amazon’s Send to Kindle.
  • PDF, for reading on a computer or printing for yourself.

Each book’s page describes it, with its contents, and shows its price before you buy.

Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in South African rand. The price on the book’s page is the price you pay. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added.
  • Payment is made through Yoco on its secure payment page. Your card details are handled by Yoco, not by us; we never see or store them.
  • Your purchase is complete when Yoco confirms the payment. If a payment is cancelled or fails, nothing is charged and no order is made.
  • If we ever show a wrong price by mistake, we will contact you and refund you in full if you wish.

Your library

You sign in with your email address before you buy; we email you a 6-digit code, so there is no password to remember. As soon as your payment is confirmed, the book appears in My library, ready to download in both formats.

You can sign in and download your books again, on any device, at any time while this website runs. We intend to keep it running for many years. If we ever have to close the shop, we will give you notice so you can download your books first.

Please keep access to the email address you used, as it is the key to your library. If you change email address, contact us and we will help.

Your licence

When you buy an eBook, you receive a personal licence to read it. You may download it, keep copies on your own devices and print it for your own use.

You may not:

  • sell, resell, lend for money or give away copies of the files;
  • share the files, or upload them to a website, file-sharing service or group chat;
  • change the text, or publish it as your own.

Quoting a short passage for teaching, preaching or a review is welcome, with credit to Dr RJ Sing and the name of the book. If someone else would be blessed by a book, please point them to pastorsing.com so they can get their own copy.

Refunds and replacements

Because an eBook is delivered straight away, as soon as you pay, eBooks are not refundable. Please check the book’s page, its description and contents before you buy.

If a file is broken or won’t open, email communications@faithintheword.co.za and tell us which book and which format. We will send you a working copy.

The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act gives a seven-day cooling-off period for many online purchases, but it does not apply to every kind of purchase, including books and content you have downloaded. Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

Our responsibility

We take care to make every book accurate to what Dr RJ Sing wrote and every file work properly. If something goes wrong, our responsibility to you is limited to replacing the file, or at most the price you paid for that book, except where the law does not allow us to limit it. We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for problems caused by your device, software or internet connection.

Your personal information

We use your email address and order details only to sell you books and keep your library. Our privacy policy explains what we keep, who helps us, and your rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top will change. The terms that applied when you bought a book continue to apply to that purchase.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and South African courts may hear any dispute.
