The Word of God is a Mirror to Reflect

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass.”
James 1:23

Once you hear the Word of God, make a quality decision to practice it immediately. As you read, study and meditate on the Word of God, you begin to realise your real identity. You see yourself in the Word of God.

The Word of God encourages us to receive the engrafted Word, and to allow it to work in our lives. We are to make a quality decision to work the Word of God. As you receive the Word of God in your life, your whole life will be more productive. Don’t just be a hearer of God’s Word but be a doer of the Word of God. As you hear the Word of God, your faith will grow. *“So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”, Romans 10:17*.

Put the Word to work immediately in your life. This will produce results in your life. You will experience overflow. Do not see your face in a mirror and then walk away forgetting who you are. As you listen to the Word, you begin to build an image within yourself. Begin to look intently into the perfect law of liberty. Every portion of your life will go to the next level. You will experience great and wonderful things. The Word of God will elevate your thinking and your whole life. Confess the Word of God out aloud and open up your mouth and speak out what you believe. Jesus told us that when we hear the Word and then do it, we are likened to a man who built his house upon a rock and no storm will be able to affect such a house.
