The Word of God is a Hammer to Convict

God’s Word is like a hammer, which rouses and strengthens your life and conscience, crushing everything that is evil within the heart. A hammer is used to beat, drive, hit or knock something. After a while, something is accomplished. This process brings about a conclusion. It produces something. In the same way, the Word of God changes hard hearts and stubborn wills.

God’s Word is indeed like a hammer that brings something wonderful in your life. No matter how hard a person may be, the Word of God will change that heart. *Jeremiah 5:14, “Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.”*

That is why when you witness to someone about the subject of Salvation; do not let their indifference and hardness of the heart cause to you to despair. Press on and persevere. The Word of God will bring about wonderful results. Just remember that the Word of God is Powerful and has enough inherent Power to change things. Sometimes in life, you are faced with challenges and mountains that seem overwhelming. Don’t be afraid, because the Word will change things in your life. That is the Power of God’s Word. Set your heart and mind on God’s Word. Remember that God’s Word in your mouth is indeed like fire.
