Jesus, the Turning Point of the World
Dr RJ Sing
“And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.”
The word for judgement in Greek is the word *krisis and is translated into the English language as crisis. Crisis means “a turning point.” Jesus was saying, “Now is the turning point of this world.” Now shall the prince of this world system be cast out. “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Revelation 12:7-9.*
I always thought this was a future event, but evidently it took place when Jesus ascended to the Throne. There is no doubt, who ascended to the Throne or who the dragon was, that was cast out. At this point, satan was cast out of Heaven. He no longer accuses us before the Father. There was no place in Heaven for him. The reason satan wasn’t cast down to earth before was because men of the earth didn’t have the ability to handle him.
