The Lord Looks on the Heart

“But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for [the LORD seeth] not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.”
When it comes to the way God looks at things, it is a bit different to how man looks at things. Man judges from the outward appearance of things. However with God, it is the heart that matters. What you look like is not the Lord’s measure of what and who you are.
In God’s Economy a right heart makes you a beautiful person. As you continue to walk with God in an upright manner, full of humility and a right heart, doors will open and favour will begin to fall on your life. Let us now look at a further Scripture along these lines: *“Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he [is] Christ's, even so [are] we Christ's.” 2 Corinthians 10:7. Make every effort to walk and function in life with a right heart. This is a big key in life. This is what makes God favour you from sun-up to sun-down. David was chosen by God using the exact same principle over his brothers. God had to even rebuke the Prophet Samuel in the way he was choosing. He chose judging by the outward appearance. Let’s walk with a perfect heart because this is what God looks at
