The Lord Sheds Light on Your Life
Dr RJ Sing
“[That] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.”
Since the day you were Born Again, your life changed in an instant. The Lord shed light into your life and you were lit up and became a light. Jesus said, *“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” Matthew 5:14.*
The above Scripture describes the essential mission of the Christian to the world. Now that you are “Lit Up” you must let your light shine forth into the darkness of human depravity, you are to set your light upon a candlestick and not hide it under a bushel, that is a basket. Darkness is the absence of light. However, remember that light can dispel the greatest darkness. As you commune with God and abide in His Word, your light shines brightly. This is what you then use to light up this dark world. This is what causes the lives of men and woman to change their ways.
Dear Child of God, go forth and let your light so shine before men. Allow the Lord to work through you to change your environment. You no longer walk in darkness any longer. Now that the Lord has shed light on your life, you are able to shed light by the help of the Holy Spirit, all around you.
