There Is Only One True God
Dr RJ Sing
“If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.”
As a Christian and a Born Again Believer you must embed this truth deep in your heart. The Truth that, “There is only One True God!” Once you have received the Lord as your personal Lord and Saviour, you are not to turn back. When you do this ie: turn back, your life becomes worse. You cannot afford to “Back–Slide”. No matter the challenges and hardships you may confront. Make up your mind that you will serve the Lord till the day you depart from this earth.
The Lord has brought you out of a land of slavery and bondage. He has done great signs and wonders on your behalf and you must make every effort not to forget this. This is what should drive you to say “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Far be it from you to forsake your Father who paid such an awesome price for you. He loves you and will deliver you from the hands of your enemies with the passing of each and every day.
Always remain thankful in your spirit. Live your life in appreciation. As time goes on many Christians have the tendency to forget the goodness and mercy of God. Make up your mind, that you will serve Him and no other.
