God Still Delivers Today!

“1 The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked, [even] mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this [will] I [be] confident.”
Difficulties in life will visit you, irrespective of your spirituality and your love for God. At times you may find yourself in stressful and dangerous situations. These conditions try to weigh you down. This is the time to depend on God for strength and security, in the midst of turmoil.
This is the time to acknowledge God’s great Power to deliver you. God still delivers today! He provides a way of escape in adverse situations; He will deliver you from destruction and draw you unto Himself.
So, no matter what you are experiencing, refuse to fear because fear is part of the curse. Understand that once you are born again, you are delivered from fear.
Resist fear and refuse it to dominate your life. Realize that fear is based on selfishness. Believe God’s love for you. Meditate on His love and actively receive God’s love for you. This will cause you to walk in His love on a daily basis. Continuously confess, “Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world”. Take authority over your mind.
