Choose Life!

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: 30:20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, [and] that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him… ”
Deuteronomy 30 is Moses’ farewell sermon to the people of Israel. In his final address, Moses’ concentrates on what is most important. “Now choose life, so that you and your children may live” is his advice to them. Then he explains, “…love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life” To have Faith means that you have chosen God and that you undertake to love Him, follow Him and obey Him.
To make the right choice is important. The wrong choice could mean the difference between success and failure. If you choose God, you can be certain that, for the rest of your life, you will have security and safety, which no one will ever be able to take away from you. If you choose life, the Lord will always be by your side. He promises to help and carry you, to take care of you, to guide you and to protect you.
God has already chosen you. Are you willing, with your entire being to choose Him? If you have been undecided up to now, do not hesitate any longer, choose life! You will definitely never regret this choice. Choose to walk in His Word and His Love for you.
