What Makes God Smile? (Part 3)
Dr RJ Sing
“Smile on me your servant, teach me the right way to be”
We will now look at the fourth and fifth reason that causes God to smile on your life. God smiles when we praise and thank Him continually. God loves Heartfelt Praise and Appreciation. God smiles when we express our adoration and gratitude to him. Noah’s life brought pleasure to God because he lived with a heart of Praise and thanksgiving.
Noah’s first act after surviving the flood was to express his thanks to God by offering a sacrifice. The bible says, ‘Then Noah built an altar to the Lord… and sacrificed burnt offerings on it’ We are told to offer ‘the sacrifice of thanksgiving’ When we worship God, it works both ways. It brings joy to the Lord and to us as well.
God smiles when we use our abilities. After the flood, God commanded Noah to be fruitful and fill the earth. God enjoys watching every detail of your life. God said, ‘Its time to get on with your life’ God enjoys watching you use your talents and abilities that He has given you. God is looking for people willing to live for His pleasure. Will you make pleasing God the goal of your life. Psalm 147:11(CEV) “The Lord is pleased with those who worship Him and trust His love”
