Being Thankful
Dr RJ Sing
“We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;.”
Thankfulness means: Gratefulness, warm friendly feelings of gratitude. Thankfulness is being grateful for what we have. It is an attitude of gratitude for learning, loving and being. Appreciate the little things that happen around you and within you every day. Think positively.
The proof of thankfulness is joy and the willingness to protect. Therefore you will protect and fight for the things you are most thankful for and you will always fight to keep what you truly love (Proverbs 3:27).
Unthankfulness is contagious: (examples of complainers)
- When unthankful people enter your presence, they destroy your focus.
- They can wreck the flow of miracles into your life.
- Unthankful people demotivate you.
Stop discussing anything that does not build up another and start focusing on the blessings – evident and obvious in your life.
