The Concept of the Kingdom

Dr RJ Sing

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)

These are simple words but will change your life. Religion is hard work. Religion is the toil of mankind in search for the Kingdom.

God’s Purpose in the beginning was to:

  • Establish a family of Spirit Sons, not servants
  • Establish a Kingdom of Kings, not subjects
  • Establish a relationship with man, not religion
  • Influence earth from heaven through mankind

God’s purpose was to establish a family of sons, not a household of servants. Jesus makes a clear distinction between servants and sons in, John 8:31-36. Jesus said that sons are members of the family, but servants are not. From the beginning, God wanted offspring who would relate to Him in love not slave, or hired hands who would obey him out of obligation. John 1:12-13 says, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” God wants Sons, not servants or subjects. He wants citizens, not Christians. He wants relationships, not religion.
