I Meditate on Grace and Favour

Dr RJ Sing

“The Lord blesses good men and condemns the wicked.”
Proverbs 12:2

As a son/daughter of the Living God you continuously enjoy favour and blessings in your life. This is because God takes great delight in the prosperity of His Children. The dictionary defines Grace as: “Favour, kindness, love state of reconciliation, pardon, license or privilege.” This is what God has done for you since you were Born-Again. He has given you grace and favour so that you may function in life without toil.

In other words, while others sweat and toil you function in grace and favour. You do things faster and more efficiently because of this grace on your life. The word grace comes from the Greek word “Charis”, which means: “that which bestows or causes favourable regard.”

This is your life and experience now. Refuse to live without this grace. Grace causes you to know God. “Please, if this is really so, guide me clearly along the way you want me to travel so that I will understand you and walk acceptably before you. For don't forget that this nation is your people.” Exodus 33:13.

Now let us consider the following Scripture as well: “Unto Timothy, [my] own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, [and] peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.”1 Timothy 1:2 (KJV)
