Thankfulness Is the Seed for More – Part 3
Dr RJ Sing
“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, Bless and affectionately praise His Name.”
We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken, cast down, but not destroyed. Always acknowledging death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
Correcting your focus is the first step towards correcting unthankfulness. If you look inside you, you will become depressed, if you look around you, you will become critical if you look back, you will develop a heart of regrets, but when you look up you will become joyful and excited about God. You correct your attitude when you correct your focus and you have to be looking at the right things for the right things to grow within you.
Your thankfulness is attracting the right people into your life – Ruth was a servant. Her attitude got the attention of Boaz and he instructed his servants to make it easier for her life. You see, when you observe thankful and gracious people, something within you wants to be in their presence. So your attitude is determining what is coming towards you and what moves away from you.
