Prophesying

Dr RJ Sing

“I wish you all had the gift of "speaking in tongues," but even more I wish you were all able to prophesy, preaching God's messages, for that is a greater and more useful power than to speak in unknown languages unless, of course, you can tell everyone afterwards what you were saying, so that they can get some good out of it too.”
(1 Corinthians 14:5)

This is part of worship and part of the service in a Spirit filled Church. (See 1 Corinthians 14:31) Speaking forth under the unction of the Holy Spirit should be normal. Whether it be in a known Tongue or unknown Tongue.

1 Thessalonians 5:20 NKJV “Do not despise prophecies.” 1 Corinthians 14:39 NKJV “Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues.” The scriptural rules governing the operation of these gifts is another subject matter. What I am trying to impart to you is the fact that, these manifestations of the Spirit must be part of our public and private worship.

(See 1 Corinthians 14:37) Prophesying over your church, your life, your future is so important. You begin to speak forth your future, Praise God! So follow the way of Love and eagerly pursue Spiritual Gifts, especially the Gift of prophesy. When you do this, you frame things that you want to see in your life.
