I Am Called to Conform to His Image
Dr RJ Sing
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”
Although God has a specific calling in mind for you, such as a Pastor, doctor, teacher and so on. He has ultimately called you to conform to His Image. You are to fulfill your destiny. It is only when you are displaying the true nature of Christ, which is love, that you are indeed fulfilling your destiny. Now let us look at the calling of the Apostle Paul: “But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.” Acts 9:15 NKJV. Here God’s Word tells us, “... He is a chosen vessel unto me.” In the same way you have also been chosen by the Lord.
What a privilege indeed. Just take the time to meditate on this truth. The fact that you were chosen by God and also that He has called you to conform to His Image. You are increasing in knowledge and power, confounding and baffling all who are set in opposition against you.
As you live your life, let your words, conduct and actions display the character of God. Let your life demonstrate the faith of God. Live this life without fear and without apology. God has called you to live a life of victory. You must continue to increase in knowledge and power, confounding and baffling those around you.
