In Jesus’ Name, I Ask for Life and Strength

“If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
In my Name means, “as my agent.” The Promise of answered prayer is based on the Disciple acting as the agent of Jesus’ will. It is also linked here especially in the accomplishment of the “greater works.” The Promise is for unlimited resources to do the works of God.
The Holy Spirit helps you in your daily walk with God. He is “another” like Jesus, a comforter (Paraclete), an advocate called alongside for aid in the time of trouble. He will strengthen and comfort you at all times. The Spirit of God is now in you. The Ministry of the Holy Spirit, promised to all believers of this age, is unique since He is given to all believers alike and permanently in and with you. This is just too wonderful to comprehend. You are not alone. You are never alone. The Holy Spirit has taken up residence in you – John 14:20.
Jesus came down from Heaven so that you may have life. He came down from the Father, and He came into the world with one purpose and that is to do the Father’s will – John 6:57.
