Developing a Faith Image (3): (See the complete you)

Your faith image should encapsulate what God wants you to become. As kingdom citizens we need to see what God can and will accomplish in, and through us, before we die. Your God given aspirations will be attained. Remember the woman that had the blood issue for twelve long years as recorded in the gospels. The key to her turning point in life was her possessing a faith image. She looked beyond her present ailing condition and saw what she could become once she touched Jesus. The Bible says, ‘She said to herself, “if I could only touch His garment, I will be healed”, Mark 5: 25 – 34. In her mind’s eye she saw herself back to normal and completely whole. That was her faith image, it was what she was certain she would become.

What does God say about you? Does he want to finish something in you? Yes, God’s desire is to transform you into a person who truly represents the full Glory of Christ’s character, in this life. As you cease to conform to the pattern of this world and fill your mind with God’s purpose for you, you will achieve it. You have within you the full potential to develop a Christ like faith image to see it and become it, we must have a revelation of what God wants to accomplish in us before we can accomplish it. You must see what you can become before you can become what you can see. See yourself complete in Christ and you are then motivated to move towards it.
