For Thou Art the God of My Salvation

“Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou [art] the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.”
Psalm 25 is the second of the Acrostic Psalms. This Psalm emphasises David’s need for deliverance from his enemies and for forgiveness from his Gracious God. However, since you are born again you know His ways. God’s ways and thoughts are found in His Word. Since you have received Christ, you have received complete salvation. Now that you have received Christ as your Lord and Saviour and are born again, He does for you what David prayed about.
Firstly, He shows you the path that you should travel on. You are no longer in confusion and you do not operate in doubt. Secondly, you already have complete and full salvation. In addition to Eternal Life, you have preservation, deliverance, soundness, health, abundance and favour. Your Salvation is complete. You have the entire package and are fully loaded in Jesus Name. The Lord points out the right road that you should follow. All you need to do is to hear His voice and follow. The Lord is ready to lead you each and everyday.
When you obey Him, every path He guides you on is full of life and you are kept by His loving kindness and His truth. As each day passes by, the Lord by His Spirit will teach you how to choose the best. You now enjoy a nothing missing, nothing broken life. Remember, you are one of His friends because He has chosen you to be so.
