The Good Life – Part 3

“And we are confident that He hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases Him. 15 And since we know He hears us when we make our requests, we also know that He will give us what we ask for.”
The Lord is our Peace (Jehovah Shalom). Colossians 1:20 AMP “And God purposed that through (by the service, the intervention of) Him [the Son] all things should be completely reconciled back to Himself, whether on earth or in Heaven, as through Him, [the Father] made peace by means of the blood of His cross.” Christ endured our punishment and absolved us from all guilt, in order to give us His peace.
We need direction in life to avoid deception, delusion, failure and betrayal. Christ laid down His life to become our Good Shepherd, so that we would never have to go or be lead astray and also remember that He paid for our healing too – Matthew 8:17 NLT “This fulfilled the Word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah, who said, “He took our sicknesses and removed our diseases.” Christ suffered for our diseases and bore them for us in His death so that we can have His life, physically as well as spiritually.
The Lord (Jehovah Jireh) will provide for you. Philippians 4:19 AMP “And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” So, remember that, Christ became poor that we, through His poverty, we might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9).
