The Word of God is a Lamp unto My Feet

God’s Word is a Lamp unto your feet. In other words, He leads and guides you in all of the affairs of your life. The Word of God also illuminates your path. When you are not sure, meditation and study of God’s Word will suddenly light up your path. You have to make a quality decision, that you will follow the precepts that your Father has laid out for you.

This will cause you to live a long and satisfied life. You will remain in good health and your vitality shall be preserved as you live a prosperous life. This prosperous life is an abundant life, a life to the full until it overflows. Continually bind God’s Word about your heart and hang them as a garland around your neck. The Word of God will guide you wherever you go and when you sleep the Word of God will keep you very safe.

As you awake, expect the Holy Spirit to speak to you and give you direction in your day-to-day life. Therefore, God’s Word is a lamp that lights up your way. With each and everyday, you enjoy direction and guidance in a great way. You must both hear the Word and then practice the Word in your day-to-day life. This will bring supernatural results into your life. Consider the following Scripture: *James 1:22, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”*
