The Relationship Between Obedience and the Seed

Dr RJ Sing

“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land...”
Isaiah 1:19

Obedience is connected with seedtime. In the above Scripture, there are two requirements; “willing and obedient.” This is where God takes over and you shall eat the good of the land. If you let God help you as you obey, then God will make you rich. God wants you to allow Him to help you. However, you must co-operate and participate in His Economic Plan.

Let us look at another Scripture in the Book of *Job 36:11, “If they obey and serve [him], they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.” God wants you to spend your days in prosperity and your years in pleasures. In other words, you will be blessed with prosperity throughout your life. God wants to remove you from an average life to experience an extraordinary life and this is found in the following Scripture, 3 John 2, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”*

The Lord indeed is your Shepherd. He wants you to live a nothing missing, nothing broken life. We must take the time to study and practice His Ways. As the Spirit of God prompts you and leads you to sow seed, do so with cheerfulness and gladness. God has your promotion in mind. He has your increase and blessings in mind. God’s intention is to bring you to your wealthy place. He wants you to eat the good of the land and dwell in prosperity all the days of your life.
