Fight the Good Fight of Faith
Dr RJ Sing
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”
Since you have been born again, you have been drafted into God’s army. That means you are now a soldier for the Lord Jesus Christ.
You are called to fight the good fight of Faith. Being a Christian does not mean that your life will be free of challenges. God expects you not only to be strong, but to fight on and obtain victories in this life. He has empowered you and given you spiritual weapons. (2 Corinthians 10:4) That is why you need to know the Word of God. The Word reveals to you your rights and privileges in Christ. Let us look at Pauls Valedictory
2 Tim 4:7-8,“*I have fought a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith: 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” When satan puts the pressure on you, remind him that Jesus triumphed over him and that the victory is yours. You have Power and Dominion on this earth and you now act in His stead. Do not accept defeat. Do not give up and cave in. God has not called you to quit, but to fight the good fight and win
