Nothing Is Impossible for God

“And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”
The Bible is filled with ‘impossible’ stories. If they were newspaper headlines they would definitely cause a stir. “Woman becomes a mother at 90!”, “A talking donkey!”, “Walking through the sea on dry ground” In the History of His people God regularly does the impossible. Things that seem totally impossible to us, are possible for Him.
We cannot really blame the ninety-year old Sarah, who had tried in vain to fall pregnant, for laughing when she heard that she would give birth to a son in a year’s time. For Abraham and Sarah, children were out of the question, as they were both too old. It was indeed unrealistic, as well as impossible, to promise them a child in a year’s time.
Sarah’s laugh was a laugh of disbelief – and yet God fulfilled His promise. She fell pregnant and bore Abraham a son. Clear proof that God can do anything. Nothing in the world is impossible for God. He can do everything, even that which is humanly impossible. Be steadfast in your Faith and you will find that He can also make the impossible possible in your life. “For with God nothing will be impossible” Luke 1:37.
