The Lord Dislikes One Who Sows Discord!

“A false witness [that] speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.”
The Bible is very serious about those who cause division. Make every effort to be a peace maker and sow unity rather than cause strife. Many people desire intently for God to bless and favor them and sometimes wonder why there seems to be a stoppage in their lives.
My suggestion is that one has to avoid being involved in conversations that cause these stoppages. Here are some things that the Bible says about gossiping and causing divisions.
Proverbs 16:28 (LB) “A troublemaker plants seeds of strife; gossip separates the best of friends.” Proverbs 18:8 “Rumors are dainty morsels that sink deep into one's heart” Proverbs 26:20 “Fire goes out without wood, and quarrels disappear when gossip stops.”
Don’t let others gossip to you. Truthfully, most people who gossip and complain aren’t praying. Those who pray usually don’t gossip or complain. When you get in the presence of God, He changes you. Make a quality decision to protect your heart at all times.
Also, know that demons are behind the spirit of strife, gossip and discord. Avoid it at all costs!
