Bless Your Pastor on Special Occasions!
Dr RJ Sing
“Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.”
You must begin to love your Pastor and respect men and women of God in the Ministry. Often ministers go unappreciated by the world. In the world, people do not know the value of spiritual leadership. A good shepherd gives his life for the sheep. (John 10:11)
Nothing is more important than our spiritual well being. The Bible says in Ephesians 4:11 ‘And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; that our Pastors are a Gift from God’. If you really love and appreciate someone, you should express it in your giving. Giving is not just monetary.
It can be money, however, there are also other ways to give. Your Pastor should be celebrated! Just think about how the world celebrates musicians, movie stars and athletes.
What your Pastor is doing is much more important than what these peoples do. That is why I believe it is vitally important to be blessing to your Pastor, especially on special occasions.
