How to Be a Blessing (Part 1)

“Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that [is] unprofitable for you.”
When I talk about giving, as I said, there are other ways you can give besides just giving money. You can sow a seed of prayer, a note of thanksgiving and so forth. But when you have material possessions and money, then begin to sow that. It’s also important to go through the proper channels when you have an idea such as an offering or buying something special for your Pastor.
Check with your Pastor’s Spouse or someone else in authority, write an email to the church and present your idea. A lot of people mean well but their idea back fires and it is not a blessing because they didn’t go about it the right way.
Off course never forget how hard your Pastor’s wife works in the Ministry as well. She can often be overlooked. Your Pastors wife is a good example of a virtuous woman and her influence in the church makes such a difference. She should also be celebrated and appreciated. What you help make happen for a man or woman of God, God can make happen for you.
