Get Involved in the Helps Ministry!

It’s important that you do what helps your Pastor the most and not just what you think he needs. A great way to be a blessing to your church is to serve in the ministry of helps. If you really want to be a blessing, then be available for anything your Pastor needs to make the church run smoothly.

Helps ministry simply means ‘To Help’ in anyway that help is needed. It is important that you do what helps your Pastor the most and not just what he needs. We must remember that it is our job to back the vision God has given to our pastor. Sometimes people tend to promote their own vision instead of backing their Pastor’s vision, not realizing that it is his vision that counts the most in your church.

You may have a great idea about something you think your church should do, but you should understand that your Pastor may not feel called to do that or the church is already doing everything it can and can’t take on another project. But if you have a great idea, there are some things you can do. You can pray about it or you can volunteer to start and keep it running.
