Abiding in Christ
Dr RJ Sing
“At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.”
Just as you have been born in the likeness of earthly men (as the offspring of Adam) you are now Born – Again and are a New Creation (a New species of being) in Christ Jesus. As He is, so are you in the world.
You are now a Son/Daughter of God, a spiritual being created with the Ability to walk in the Blessings of the Kingdom. You now have the life of God in you: “For we that are in [this] tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.” 2 Corinthians 5:4.
Just as your spirit is imperishable, one day your body shall be made imperishable as well. This perishable body will be transformed into an imperishable body, and you shall, in your body, be just as immortal as Jesus. Then the Scripture, “All of death has been swallowed up in victory”, shall be manifested. This is your life now. You are no longer afraid of death as it has no sway over your life any longer. You have now dressed yourself with immortality.
