Pressing Forward
Dr RJ Sing
“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
When people try to talk you out of serving God, that’s when you should press on and know that you are on the right path. When you are serving God the devil will not leave you, he will always put somebody to hinder you or distract you, you got to press on.
To press on mean against the odds you will push forward, pressing on means you have made up your mind against all odds to serve God. God wants you to be burning hot, red hot. The desires and passion for the things of God must be red hot. God moves with people like that. Cause you will grow old and not know why you haven’t grown in the things of God but if you red hot God will use you.
In order for us to press on in the things of God we must believe that God is a miracle working God. If you going through challenges, you may feel like God is not with you, but God never said I’ll leave you at sometimes and be with you sometimes. You have to walk by faith. Your God is miracle working God. But God needs children that expect miracles. When everything around you says No, your God says Yes.
