Without Offense

Dr RJ Sing

“Because of this, I try with all my strength to always maintain a clear conscience before God and man.”
Acts 24:16

The thing that can hinder our faith is a conscience that is scared. When we come into the presence of God with a clear conscience and genuine Faith, we then have confidence in God.

We have to take on the Thoughts of God. How do we do this? The answer is by taking into our conscience the Word of the Living God. This like Precious Faith then becomes a part of you. (2 Peter 1:1) and this causes you to perform Daring things. You have to come to a place where you give up your own thoughts and take on the Thoughts of God.

The Bible is not a Book that contains the Word of God. It is the Word of God. The Word of God is Supernatural in origin. The Bible States: “Yet faith comes from listening to this Good News the Good News about Christ.” (Romans 10:17)

Make every effort to be offensive free. When you become offended, your faith stops being effective. So what the Apostle Paul said in the above Scripture, that he does his best to keep his conscience offense free in relationship to God and man. Make every effort not to break your fellowship with God.
