Without Offense
Pastor Zubeda Sing
“And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and [toward] men.”
The thing that can hinder our faith is a conscience that is scared. When we come into the presence of God with a clear conscience and genuine Faith, we then have confidence in God.
We have to take on the Thoughts of God. How do we do this? The answer is by taking into our conscience the Word of the Living God. This like Precious Faith then becomes a part of you. (2 Pet 1:1) and this causes you to perform Daring things. You have to come to a place where you give up your own thoughts and take on the Thoughts of God.
The Bible is not a Book that contains the Word of God. It is the Word of God. The Word of God is Supernatural in origin. The Bible States: “*So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself)”. (Romans 10:17) Make every effort to be offense free. When you become offended, your faith stops being effective. So what the Apostle Paul said in the above Scripture, that he does his best to keep his conscience offense free in relationship to God and man. Make every effort not to break your fellowship with God. That is why you need your conscience free from offence at all times
