Christ’s Gift to You
Dr RJ Sing
“However, Christ has given each of us special abilities whatever he wants us to have out of his rich storehouse of gifts.”
The apostle Paul spoke about the grace and the gifts of Christ. You are joined to Christ’s body the moment you believe. For example, children of parents have different names, but the moment they appeared into the world, they were in ‘the family’.
The moment you are born of God, you are in the family of God. This makes you part of the body and He is in the body. After you come into the body, then Christ reigns in and through you mightily. The Holy Spirit gives gifts in the body.
Then suddenly you have a revelation and the Spirit of God reveals your callings or particular gifting. Jesus is pleased to give gifts in order that the church might come into a perfect position.
Jesus wants His church to be a perfect body and perfect in stature. May the Spirit of God cause you to see Christ’s gifts in your life.
Allow the Spirit to bring you to a place where not only the gifts of the Spirit but also the gifts of Christ which has been given to you, cause you to do mighty things for the Lord.
