You Are Strong in Grace

Dr RJ Sing

“SO YOU, my son, be strong (strengthened inwardly) in the grace (spiritual blessing) that is [to be found only] in Christ Jesus.”
2 Timothy 2:1 - AMP

Paul instructs us to be strong in Grace. But, what is important is the fact that we need to understand what Grace is. Let us look at the following scripture: “11 For the free gift of eternal salvation is now being offered to everyone; 12 and along with this gift comes the realization that God wants us to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures and to live good, God- fearing lives day after day.” Titus 2:11-12.

Grace teaches us to live, walk and experience freedom. The Grace of God constantly causes you to progress in life. It is the Grace of God that helps you turn around after making a mistake. Now the above scripture tells us to ‘Be strong in Grace’.

You are commanded to grow strong in Grace. How do you do this? It is simple. Begin to spend time with the Word and in Prayer. Begin to spend time in fellowship and Church Attendance. Begin to walk in Faith and Joy.

Expect the Spirit of God to lead you and guide you. So, begin to spend time every morning in praying in the Spirit, talking to the Father and reminding yourself that the Holy Ghost is inside you. Allow Him to constantly teach and guide you. Become Strong in the Grace of God.
