You Are Where God Wants You to Be – Part 2

Dr RJ Sing

“God spoke to Moses: 2 "Tell the Israelites to turn around and make camp at Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea. Camp on the shore of the sea opposite Baal Zephon.”
(Exodus 14:1-2 – MSG)

Someone defined worry as: A small trickle of fear that meanders through the mind, cutting a channel into which all other thoughts flow. So, how can you not worry when the Red Sea faces you? This is the time to convert our worries into Prayers, and our fears into faith.

In the story of the Red Sea, the Israelites followed the Lord. He led them deliberately into a dead end. He gave them step by step instructions leading them into apparent ruin. The Lord does that, to test our Faith and He leads us into hardship teaching us wisdom, showing us His ways.

Let’s consider this man and woman who through no fault of their own, found themselves in difficult situations: Hagar – A single woman was forced into the desert with her boy to die of thirst. Joseph – wanting to fulfill his divine dreams, was seized, stripped, sold as a slave and imprisoned in Egypt. When you are in a difficult place, realize that the Lord has either placed you there or allowed you to be there, for reasons that are known to Himself.
