Developing Your Faith Image – Part 2

Dr RJ Sing

“Now to Him Who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
(Ephesians 3:20-21 – NKJV)

Our faith image is based solidly on God’s Word and comes into being or reality, through the working of His power within us. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think in life. But it is according to the “Power” that works in your life. That power is dependent on the extent the Word of God has dominion and sway in your life.

We must come to terms with the powerful resource we have in Christ, so that we can ‘ask or imagine’, it takes a revelation of God’s greatness to motivate you to dream beyond your natural abilities. The Apostle Paul literally pleaded with the Ephesian believers to see this great truth (See Ephesians 1:17-20).

Conscious of his resources in Christ, Paul had a faith image of himself and those with whom he labored. He knew he could attain his goals. He knew he could bring people to maturity because his faith image encapsulated the heart of God for both himself and his fellow workers. So let this faith image grow in you. Refuse to walk in doubt, fear and unbelief. You are a product of faith, so press on and see marvelous things take place in your life.
