Developing Your Faith Image – Part 6
Dr RJ Sing
“But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.”
Having taken stock and established a sober starting point, you now need to start pressing on towards developing your faith image. Develop a strategy that causes your faith to grow, your gifts to develop and your activity to be channeled into purposeful tasks.
The key to doing this is to find your faith image. Because faith comes by hearing God’s Word, we need to feed our dreams and thinking, with Scripture. Your faith image will then grow and develop as you come to understand more of God’s ultimate purpose for you. Big ideas may feed your ego, but they will do nothing for your faith. Only God’s Word can cause faith to come in, in increasing measure. Look into the Bible and see what it says about you. Matthew 4:4 NKJV “But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”
Start by asking the following questions; what does God’s Word say about me? Who am I? What does God’s Word say I can do? What does God’s Word say I have and can have? As you feed your mind with these truths about yourself, your faith image will develop and become established. As you feed your faith image, you will begin to enjoy a beautiful life. You will speak God’s Word and see it manifest before your very eyes. As you begin to practice the Word of God and see results, you will rejoice each and every day of your life.
