Train the Human Spirit – Part 2

“The spirit of man [that factor in human personality which proceeds immediately from God] is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts.”
You are to give the Word of God first place. The training, development and education of our spirit, comes by giving the Word first place in our lives. Proverbs 4:20-22 AMP “My son, attend to My words; consent and submit to My sayings. 21 Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.” You should train yourselves to put the Lord first and to put God’s Word first in every area of life.
You are also to instantly obey the voice of your spirit. The human spirit has a voice and we call that voice “Conscience.” This is your spirit speaking to you. The human spirit is a spiritual man (Inward man) – he is hidden to the physical senses. The new birth is a rebirth of the human spirit. As you give your newborn spirit the privilege of meditating on the Word, this becomes the source of its information. Your spirit becomes strong, the inward voice, educated in the spirit, will become a true guide and the conscience is a safe guide in the believer (John 16:13).
God will guide you through your spirit, so learn to obey the voice of your spirit. You will begin to operate in the perfect Will of God and you will know what to do regarding the details of your life.
