The Good Life – Part 2
Dr RJ Sing
“And we are confident that He hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases Him. 15 And since we know He hears us when we make our requests, we also know that He will give us what we ask for.”
The Bible also says of Christ that – Hebrews 1:3 NLT “The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of His command. When He had cleansed us from our sins, He sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in Heaven.”
Our need for righteousness is dignity restored. When sin condemns us we want God’s forgiveness. Romans 5:17 NLT “For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and His gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.” Christ was made sin, with our sins and bore the punishment that we deserved so that we will never be condemned, but can have His Righteousness imputed to us. Confess and say this: Lord, you took my sins to the Cross. Your blood was shed for my remission and I am restored to dignity with God.
God has forgiven us and therefore we must now forgive ourselves. So, at times we might struggle adjusting to this new life, just remember through it all have peace.
