Wisdom for Building Our Lives – Part 1

Dr RJ Sing

“It is the Glory of God to conceal a thing, but the glory of kings is to search out a thing.”
(Proverbs 25:2 – AMP)

Intimacy with God should be our highest goal. Judas was familiar with Jesus and John was intimate. The scriptures are clear that if we do not have the proper fear of God, we will depart form the path of life. There is certainly a lack of pure and holy fear of God. Proverbs 28:14 AMP “Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) is the man who reverently and worshipfully fears [the Lord] at all times [regardless of circumstances], but he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity.” Therefore, wise people in the Kingdom (Kings) must then search out the matter so that we can navigate through life wisely.

We must have Reverence and Respect for God to the highest degree. John had the privilege of leaning his head upon the Breast of the Lord, but when he encountered the Lord, he fell to the ground (Revelation 1:17).

Proverbs 2:1-5 – Wisdom is a great Treasure and treasure is not just lying on the ground. True wisdom is the Fear of the Lord. When we lose the fear of the Lord, we lose wisdom, regardless of how much knowledge or understanding we have.
