The Lord Multiplies My Days
Dr RJ Sing
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. 11 For by me your days will be multiplied, and years of life will be added to you.”
As you listen to wisdom (God’s Word), it causes you to live long and gain abundant life. The Bible states that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. This is where you have respect and honor for the things of God. You must understand the immensity of His Power and Glory. As you begin to understand this, you begin to shun evil – Job 28:28.
God loves you very much, but you must begin to respect Him and your respect must be immeasurable. Through your understanding, He has added many years to your life and you will continue to enjoy abundance of joy and prosperity. Begin to function in life as a wise son/daughter in this life. Begin to please Him in all of your ways, and choices in life. God has placed a crown of His favour, peace and permanent felicity upon your head. All of your days on the earth have been multiplied.
Why is this so? The answer is found in the Book of Romans 8:11 NKJV: “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”
