Leading an Extraordinary Life – Part 3
Dr RJ Sing
“By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; 4 through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. 5 The wise prevail through great power, and those who have knowledge muster their strength. 6 Surely you need guidance to wage war, and victory is won through many advisers.”
3. If we can alter the way we perceive, judge and decide upon the main issues of life, then we can dramatically change our life.
4. The development of a sound philosophy, prepares us for making sound decisions.
Once you change your personal philosophy, everything changes for you. Everything around you will start to look different. Your life is affected by your attitude. While your personal philosophy is what you know and how you think, your attitude is how you feel.
So, how do you feel about your past? Use your past as a school, not a club. Don’t beat yourself up with your past, instead, look at your past as lessons that you can apply to do better in the present and in the future. There’s nothing you can do about the past, your feelings, your regret or your remorse. If you stay there, it will hinder your future and it will prevent you from designing a better future, with the opportunity that is before you today.
