Developing a Giving Heart

From the desk of Pastor Sing

Dear Partner, I am so glad to have the opportunity to write to you. I want to first of all, take this opportunity to thank you and your family for being so diligent and prompt in your giving unto the Lord’s work. You have sown your Tithes and Offerings, Pledges, Building funds, Priestly offerings etc. and now that you have sown seed on the ground, it has no alternative but to break forth and yield a total Blessing in your life. This Blessing comes in many forms, but more than that, it can come into your hands in a way different to what you have anticipated.

Firstly, thank you for being obedient to the Lord and secondly for being committed whole heartedly to the local vision of our church, Rhema Family Church, Durban. This is your spiritual home and as you sow, demand your breakthroughs and the things the devil is trying to keep away from you. You certainly have our agreement in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

This month I would like to share with you on the subject of: Developing a Giving Heart

2 Corinthians 9:8 AMP

“And God is able to make all grace (every favour and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].” Becoming a Good Manager of our seed depends on the condition of our heart. We can only tithe and sow seeds liberally if our attitude is right. God says in His Word, that if we will trust Him and tithe with a glad heart, He will overflow blessings upon us. Then the Lord says, that He will open heavens windows and pour out a blessing so big, that there will not be room enough to store it. (Malachi 3:10)

When God blesses us like that, it somehow works a change in our heart, causing us to love giving even more. Start tithing, and God will enlarge your heart. This will change the way you approach money and soon you will be a liberal sower. God will trust a liberal sower with more seed. But if we don’t have a scattering attitude, He’s not going to give us seed just to keep and use on ourselves.

As we sow our seed, God will meet our every need. He will supply bread for our food and He will multiply our seed sown.

Our Seed is our source of Increase. Our seed is the source of our Prosperity. Remember that we are not to hoard but we are to give. Increase in the Kingdom comes as a result of giving. God will multiply the seed you have sown. Before we reap a harvest, we are to sow. We must plant to reap a harvest.

Prophesy:

I now speak a word over your lives. I decree that all my partners are liberal sowers and have a giving heart. I decree that you function and operate in a spirit of Favour and you are connected to increase. You are connected with God’s plan for increase and you have supernatural results in the financial arena of your lives. Amen. Begin to put the Word of God into practice and free yourself. Let it sustain you and catapult you to another level.

Make every effort to keep your spirit right and refuse to be distracted in your walk with the Lord.

We pray for you daily and want to see you succeed in this life. We love you very much and thank God for you. May God continue to richly bless you and your family.

    Use the Name of Jesus

“Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.” (Hebrews 1:3-4 – NKJV)

Jesus received greatness of His Name after the resurrection from the dead. He inherited His Name when He was made alive out of spiritual death. It was after His resurrection that He revealed that…

    The Truth About Rejection

“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.” (1 John 3:1-2 – NKJV)

When you feel rejected and unwanted, dwell and think about the Love of the Father. The Father has bestowed great love on you and He even calls you “Children of God” and “Sons of…

    You Have Security in Christ

“He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation-he incurs no damnation]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ's name.” (John 3:18 AMP)

What does this mean? Simply that for those who believe there is no condemnation and rejection. You can never be defeated by condemnation and rejection if you believe. Only those who reject Christ are…
