Sermon outline
Everything you need has been deposited in your spirit by the Holy Spirit, and the language of the Holy Ghost is that if you can see it, you can have it.
Main text
- Genesis 13:14-18
- Genesis 30:25-43
Opening
He prays, thanking God that the church is expanding on every side 'because of the mimshak anointing', and has people tell three others they are glad. He explains that he is taking off from Sunday's message on the Holy Spirit in you, which he began at the City Hall meeting. Knowing you are anointed is one thing; tonight he wants to teach how to draw that anointing out of your spirit and make it work for your success.
The resources are already in your spirit
When you are born again, the Holy Spirit comes to live in you as God's presence once filled the tabernacle and the temple, and with Him comes your health, wealth and favour. It is not enough to agree with that mentally; you must comprehend His ability in your earthen vessel. Out of the logos, the said word, comes a rhema, a saying word, that changes storms, families and finances. God can do nothing for a passive person, only for one who puts faith to work with faith blocks, as Abraham was renamed a father of many nations before he had a child.
Illustration: Abraham's neighbours hearing his wife call him 'father of many nations' when he had no child, and thinking the couple were foolish.
“A saying word out of the said word gives you the victory.”

Lift up your eyes and look
God told Abraham to look north, south, east and west, because what entered his eyes entered his heart and then his imagination. God's promises are so big the mind cannot always take them in, but the spirit can comprehend anything. God was teaching Abraham to change his mental picture from 'childless' to descendants as many as the dust. You are not a worm made to crawl; you are a king, and kings think like kings.
Illustration: Being told you will be very wealthy when you have just hitchhiked a lift to church: that was Abraham's situation.
“Abraham, if you can see it, you can have it.”

- 2 Corinthians 1:20
- Revelation 1:6
Think it and ink it: you and the Holy Ghost are enough witnesses
If you can think it and write it down, you can have it. A thing is established by two or three witnesses, and even alone you have the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit and the word with you, so you can decree something and see it come to pass without a big gathering.
“You don't need a big gathering you just need you and the Holy Ghost.”
- Matthew 18:19
- 2 Corinthians 13:1
Arise and walk through the land
God told Abraham to arise and walk the length and breadth of the land. Don't ask God why; stand up and say poverty and sickness are not for you. If you want a house, go and walk around it and say 'this is mine', because prophetic people appropriate things prophetically even when it looks foolish to the natural mind. Angels are ministering spirits looking for heirs who will call for what they carry, as God sent ravens and a widow to feed the prophet.
Illustration: He pictures angels flying around with great big Christmas bags, looking for people who will call for what is in them. He also tells of walking around a building he hoped to buy, at night with a torch, and claiming it in the car afterwards.
“Your mind screams, no, it can't be done. Your spirit man says, go, son, it is yours.”
- Genesis 13:17-18
- Proverbs 4:23
- Hebrews 1:14
- 1 Kings 17:4-9
The language of the Holy Ghost: what you see, you can have
He calls God's word to Abraham, 'look, see, let it enter your eyes, your heart and your imagination', the language of the Holy Spirit. Advertisers learned from God's system that what people see for thirty seconds they desire. So he has the church say 'I see it' over the house, promotion, healing, car or child they are believing for, and to see, hold and smell it rather than the pain.
Illustration: A thirty-second television advert that makes you want what it shows.
“If you as a child of God can see something, you can have it.”
- Psalm 37:4
The fortune teller endorsed the man of God
In the Living Bible, Laban tells Jacob that a fortune teller told him all his blessings came because Jacob was there. Even devils recognise the anointed, as the evil spirit said 'Jesus I know, and Paul I know'. Wherever an anointed believer goes, light and prosperity come because of them; an employer may only find out how much you were carrying after you leave. Those who are with you are more than those against you.
Illustration: A minister he met in Zambia told him how soldiers brought him the body of a comrade shot dead two days earlier and threatened to kill him unless his God raised the man; after about thirty minutes of prayer he saw a light, heard 'give the command', and the soldier coughed, got up and asked for food.
“The devil himself endorsed a man of God.”
- Genesis 30:25-28
- Acts 19:13-15
- 2 Kings 6:16-17
- Psalm 34:7
The law of creation: Jacob's striped rods
Jacob agreed to take only the speckled, spotted and black animals as his wages, then set peeled, striped rods at the watering troughs where the plain flocks mated. What entered Jacob's eyes entered his heart and imagination, and the flocks produced streaked and spotted young until he became very wealthy. He calls this the law of creation: the Holy Spirit used material things to help Jacob visualise and dream, and 'punched in the proper keys to activate the proper genes'.
Illustration: Jacob building a wall of striped, speckled rods for the flocks to look at every day as they drank.
“The Holy Spirit punched in the proper keys to activate the proper genes to produce what Jacob wanted produced.”
- Genesis 30:29-43
- Genesis 37:5-9
Make a definite request and see the end result
Jesus could see Bartimaeus was blind, yet asked 'what do you want?' because He wanted a definite request. Crying 'heal me, heal me' shows you have not seen it yet. Don't look at the medicine, the prognosis or the lack; see the end result, the contracts so many you complain of too much work, the joy and the laughter. God is able to do more than we ask or think, and we have forgotten the thinking.
Illustration: Every time he comes to church he imagines people everywhere and three services, and he sees a domed auditorium of 5,000 or 10,000 seats with galleries far and wide.
“What you are seeing, you are seeing the end result.”
- Mark 10:46-52
- Philippians 4:19
- Ephesians 5:19
- Ephesians 3:20
Putting it into practice
- Write down what you are believing God for and keep the picture before your eyes.
- Say 'I see it' over your need instead of rehearsing the problem.
- Walk around what you want and claim it in faith.
- Make a definite request, then picture the end result, not the obstacle.
- Think big: if you aim big and reach halfway, it is still better than small.
Closing
He asks everyone to close their eyes and picture one thing they want from God, using a member's example of a new red car being dedicated at church, and shares his own picture of a huge domed church. He prays a prayer of agreement, declares that the Holy Spirit is falling and releasing rhema and laughter, and has the church say they are fully loaded. He says he has not finished and will carry on next week, perhaps with Bartimaeus.
Declarations he led
- I see it, Lord, I see it.
- I received it, Lord.
- When I walk out of here, I'm fully loaded in my spirit, in my mind, in my heart, in my soul.
- I'm very, very, very joyful.
- I want to laugh my way through life.
- When I dream, dream dreams, I will dream big dreams. I will see big.
In his words
- “A saying word out of the said word gives you the victory.”
- “God can't do anything for a man or a woman that's passive.”
- “Every man's got to start from somewhere. But that is not your permanent station in life.”
- “If you think big and reach halfway, it's still better than small.”
- “If you can see it, you can have it.”
