Have Faith in God
Dr RJ Sing
“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them.”
It is so important to declare God’s Word. Many well meaning Christians miss it right here. They think it is a waste of time or just plain silly to declare God’s Word out aloud. No! Rather it is foolishness to keep quiet. Religion has advocated that we behave and be silent. No, we must speak the Word and declare it out loud. There is power in the declaration of God’s Word.
You see, the act of declaring the Rhema of God, is also called the Confession of God’s Word. The Greek word translated confession is “homologeo”. It means to agree with. To speak the same thing and to be in accord with. This is exactly what happened when we were born again. We believed and then confessed, that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died in our place and rose from the dead. When God gives us a Rhema Word, it is this Rhema that we need to boldly declare. As we speak these words, powerful things begin to happen. We see the results with our naked eye. Be bold and speak God’s Word into every adverse situation, and it will change.
