Agreeing with God (1)

Dr RJ Sing

“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”
Amos 3:3

Many people are sincere and love God. They endeavour to please Him and try to do the best they can. However, we seem to miss God in the simple things. What do I mean by this? Well the answer is quite simple. You do not agree with God when you fail to speak and confess what His Word says.

Anytime you fail to speak His Word, you actually disagree with God. To agree with God, is to say the same thing God says in His Word about healing, salvation, etc. You therefore must start to agree with the Word. As you agree with the Word, you agree with God. You now begin to walk in harmony with the Word. When you agree with God, it simply means you are walking in faith and not by sight.

“By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Hebrews 11:5-6

The Bible tells us that Enoch walked with God. *Genesis 5:24, “And Enoch walked with God: and he [was] not; for God took him.”*
