Healing Words!

“For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.”
Words are very important to the New Creation being. Words will build or break down. Words put together make up sentences. Sentences put together make up a language. This New Creation man now has to speak the language of the Word of God.
This is so very important. I want to illustrate to you the importance of words. Every word that you utter carries power. A power to destroy or to build. That is why, a New Creation being in Christ, cannot afford to speak “idle” words.
In James 1:26, “If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion [is] vain.” Proverbs 15:4, “A wholesome tongue [is] a tree of life: but perverseness therein [is] a breach in the spirit.” Psalms 141:3, “ Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.” Ephesians 4:29, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”
So in order to see good days, refrain your tongue from speaking evil and negative things. Be a seeker of peace and pursue it with all of your will. This way peace will surround you as a shield each and everyday.
