Glory Be to God!

“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen”
Romans 11:33-36 is a beautiful song of praise. This doxology praises God’s glory, wisdom and knowledge. With this description, the curtain is drawn back slightly so that we can get a glimpse of the greatness and majesty of God. For Paul, Faith in God did not depend on understanding Him. He was able to keep on singing about God’s greatness, regardless of his circumstances.
God is far too great for us to fathom with the human mind. His wisdom and knowledge are beyond our understanding. We will never be able to explain His actions, know all His plans, or prescribe to Him what to do. There is no one that can do Him a favor. God is exalted far above us.
“From Him and through Him and to Him are all things, and only to Him be the glory forever”. God does not owe you anything, but gives you everything. He did not even hold back His Son. We read in The Message, “Everything comes from him; Everything happens through him; Everything ends up in him. Always glory! Always praise!”
