The Lord’s Supper
Dr RJ Sing
“After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me”
The Lord Jesus was very symbolical, when He took the bread He once and for all times said to the Church that this is my body which is broken for you. That means Jesus didn’t die in death in vain. He did it for a course, what was His course and objective for the Church.
That the Church may rise up and take its place. You can partake of life, for he has come to give you life and life more abundantly, that’s the abundant life that you are to partake of. We need to discern the Body of Christ correctly. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation, all things have passed away, behold all things have become new. What are the new things that are spoken in scripture?
That you have healing, and that you don’t have to carry demons around, you are free of possession, you are free of oppression, you are free from sadness. You can be glad because of what Christ has done for you. So you must daily partake of the Lords supper, doing so in remembrance of Him.
